About Lana Chacra

Lana Chacra’s journey to becoming a music composer was anything but typical. A classically trained pianist who wrote her first melody at just three years old, she always knew music was her deepest passion. However, raised in a family of immigrants who highly valued education and stability, she pursued a more conventional route, earning a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy and building a professional career in that field.

For years, Lana kept composing privately while working as a retail pharmacist. But after the sudden loss of her husband, she completely stepped away from music. As a young widow with two small children, her main focus shifted to providing for her family and creating a stable life for them.

Years later, through a series of powerful and unexpected synchronistic events, Lana found her way back to music composition. This led to her first professional release in 2023: the original instrumental soundtrack for L.C. Moon’s novel Fairy Tales From the Underworld, Pt. I: A Bedtime Story (Beauty Meets the Beast), followed by the soundtrack for its sequel, Fairy Tales From the Underworld, Pt. II: The Buried Tale (The Star-Crossed Lovers).

Her work also includes Melodies in Arcana Major™, an instrumental and orchestral series featuring original theme songs inspired by every Major Arcana card of the Tarot.
